SESCL All Set for Finals on Sunday

After a thrilling day's cricket last Sunday, there are just 2 sides left in contention for each of the SESCL Championship Cups.

The Semi-Finals of the Prem/1/2 Cup took place at Slough CC. In the 1st semi, Kinara emerged comfortable winners over High Wycombe Gymkhana. Their victory charge was lead by Fahim Qureshi, who made 131*. His 2nd 130+ score of the season!

Kinara went on to win by 119 runs, and book their place in the Final. In the other Semi Finals, Watford Haidery gained an equally impressive victory over Kashmiri Kings. They 251-9 in their 40 overs, with contributions throughout the order. Kashmiris could only muster 123 all out, set back by Raja Qaiser taking 4-16 in his 8 overs.

In the Div 3/4/5 Semi Finals, played at North Maidenhead CC, Reading Continental and Bajjar Badshahs 2nd XI qualified for the Final.

Reading Continental beat Kashmiri Panthers by 36 runs, whilst Bajjar Badshahs squeezed past Lahore Tigers by 8 runs in a nail biter!

So the stage is now set for both Finals to take place this Sunday (20/9) at Burnham CC, at 11:30.
